INTECH Process Automation was selected to supply a DCS and safety system for a new plant in an oil field operated by PPL in Pakistan. The role covers design, engineering and supply of a complete ICS with SIL 3 safety system as well as high specs DCS together with multiple third party devices integration from skid mounted packaged equipment. INTECH job scope covers Engineering, supply, IFAT, supervision of pre commissioning and commissioning as well as providing training on supplied systems.
The need for these systems arose after PPL’s plan to install a new train for LPG and NGL recovery at existing plant location. The solution supplied by INTECH consists of over 1600 hard wired I/Os and 4000 soft I/Os from 3rd party packaged PLC systems. The project supply has an aggressive schedule of 24 weeks.
