INTECH Nigeria is an associate organization to INTECH Process Automation INC. It
employs around 30--50 personnel, majority of which are Nigerians Engineers at all
hierarchies. This is particularly in-line with the Nigerian Government’s Local Content
development plan. INTECH Nigeria proudly declares that its local Nigerian engineer’s
are fully geared up and have been providing services (including project management,
system configuration to commissioning) to major Oil & Gas customers’ satisfaction.
The local Nigerians have been locally and internationally trained as per company’s
overall resource development plan. Their skills are improved and kept current through
regular training program.
INTECH Process Automation NIGERIA Limited is located in old GRA, Port Harcourt.
Most of the multinational oil companies such as TotalFinaELF, ChevronTexaco, Shell
and AGIP have major local setups in Port Harcourt and are located within a minutes’
drive from the office. The office is equipped with modern telecommunications and
multimedia facilities.
The facility is situated on 3,000 sq. yards located on a 1000 yard stretch of river
bank. The office consists of a two-story building with available office space in
excess of 15,000 sq. ft. which can house around 50 personnel.
Security is ensured by a contracted security agency as well as regular police patrols.
In order to provide power backup in case main electricity supply fails a Perkins
generator is provided. The facility is also equipped with fire extinguishers and
other safety equipment to handle emergencies. Company Safety and Health policies
are well-defined and implemented.
The office is divided into four units, Management unit, Training unit, Engineering
Unit, Training center, FAT/ Panel workshop and a Warehouse.
Management unit has offices for Managers and Admin/Accounts department.

This office is located in the Lekki area within 5 km distance from the Total office,
and less than 5 kms from Offices of Chevron, Exxon, SNEPCO, NAPIMS and other major
oil and gas and EPC companies. This physical proximity allows INTECH to attend to
the clients’ needs in a much efficient way.
This office can accommodate small control system FATs as well it can act as a training
facility for up to 64 personnel. INTECH has conducted several FATs and trainings
in its Lagos office.

INTECH has a standard methodology for controlling its site services (including maintenance).Custom
maintenance programs are developed according to site/ customer/ system at each specific
site. The following standard documents are also used:
- Site Services Initiation Record: to compile all contractual information, scope of
work including system details etc, and selection of appropriate site engineer.

Site Services Assignment Sheet: to compile daily status of site engineer and respective
approvals for site allowance payment to concerned engineer
- Time Sheet:
to record daily activity performed at site and approval of customer's representative

Modification Control: to initiate any modification in system and required corrective
action
- Punch List: a bird-eye view to indicate all pending / on-going
changes during site services
