INTECH to deliver multiple PLC systems for Power Skids at a major onshore facility in the Middle East

INTECH continues to strengthen its footprint in the Middle East by delivering an integrated electrical automation solution for a key onshore facility of a major regional energy player. The project will support one of the operator’s key field development initiatives across its extensive onshore operations.

As part of the project, INTECH will undertake detailed engineering and design of multiple PLC systems for power skid applications. The scope of supply will include SIL 3 PLC systems with redundant controllers and associated marshalling infrastructure. The PLC systems will support PCS, ESD, and F&G functions, with redundant communication interfaces to the plant’s DCS/ICSS and connectivity to third party systems. The scope will cover detailed engineering and system design, configuration, system staging, integration, internal testing, integrated FAT and SAT along with commissioning support, and comprehensive engineering documentation, ensuring a reliable, integrated, and fully validated control solution from design through deployment.
