INTECH instrumental in Gas Flare Elimination project in South Nigeria
INTECH performed Gas Flare Elimination on a large Gas Terminal in Southern Nigeria. The project involved modification of an existing onshore facility to achieve recovery and compression of associated gas, improvement in power supply reliability and elimination of routine flaring.
The project had two stages:
Stage 1: Improvement in reliability of power supply through installation of two new units of dual fuel GTGs which shall run on diesel until fuel gas is available in stage 2.
Stage 2: Installation of gas recovery and compression system along with associated control System and utilities.
INTECH provided commissioning support for two new Gas Turbine Generators and each was equipped with Dual Redundant PLC/dual Fuel capabilities called Unit Control Panel (UCP) for sequencing and protection of GTGs.
INTECH also supplied and commissioned Diesel and Early Fuel Gas Supply Systems including F&G monitoring of Battery Room and Tool Room of GTG Building. The project was completed and commissioned on time.
