INTECH executes control loop optimization project in Kazakhstan
INTECH Process Automation executed a control loop optimization project at one of the world’s largest Gas Processing Plants in north-west Kazakhstan.
The client faced several issues with the PID controllers at its facility. The control loops were on suboptimal levels and the legacy systems suffered unnecessary wear and tear due to lack of control loop deviation based monitoring and lack of maintenance action focus.
INTECH Process Automation was selected due to its superior software integration expertise and control loop tuning expertise. INTECH’s solution, based on predictive modelling, provided the optimal set-points required for the PID Controllers and readily integrated with the client’s legacy systems. The solution was delivered well ahead of the schedule and the client termed INTECH’s performance on the project as beyond expectations recognizing that long standing issues with automatic control had been highlighted and addressed quickly and professionally at all times. Full training and familiarization of the Control Loop Tuning Software had also been carried out at the site to the client’s complete satisfaction.
