INTECH to Modernize Critical Electrical Protection Systems at a Major Onshore LNG Facility in Angola

INTECH continues to expand its presence in Angola by securing a project to modernize the critical electrical protection infrastructure at a major onshore LNG facility. The project will enhance the reliability, safety, and resilience of the facility’s power distribution network, supporting uninterrupted operations across critical process areas.

As part of the project, INTECH will supply advanced SEL-700BT protection relays for the facility’s 6.6 kV switchboards, strengthening the protection of critical electrical assets and improving overall system reliability. The scope includes the supply of protection relays for five switchboards, with two relays installed per switchboard, providing robust and dependable protection for the facility’s power distribution network.
