INTECH to play a key role in enhancing gas flow capacity at major Saudi Arabian facilities
INTECH Process Automation will automate black powder filtration systems at two major gas processing facilities on the west coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enable enhanced gas flow capacity and ensuring improved operational efficiency.
The said facilities are located in key commercial zones of the Kingdom and operated by a major oil and gas company.
INTECH’s prior experience of working with the client on similar filtration systems; employing state of the art coreless filter cartridge technology; has been remarkable and it continues to extend its support in services ranging from urgent diagnostic and troubleshooting requirements in existing PLCs to complete project delivery of new control systems. INTECH’s familiarity with the client’s working environment and philosophy was also instrumental in making it the System Integrator of choice for this project.
This project, part of the continued extensive support to the client, will be executed from INTECH’s Saudi Arabian base office in Al-Khobar. INTECH’s scope of services on this project includes:
- Project Management (including Client and Vendor Interface, Coordination with third party vendors, procurement and materials management)
- Function Design Specifications and Approval (including Final Safety System Functional Analysis review, Preparation of Control System programming guidelines and standards)
- Design and Engineering (including System architecture finalization, Comprehensive data connectivity database preparation, including mapping from third party devices)
- HMI development as per P&IDs using existing HMI development philosophy
- SCADA Design and Configuration
- System Staging and FAT
- On Site Pre Commissioning and Commissioning
- Operator and Maintenance Personnel Training
