INTECH wins Commissioning and Startup Project of Bentley Nevada VMS/MMS and associated PLCs in Southern Nigeria

INTECH Process Automation has won a Commissioning & Startup Project of Bentley Nevada VMS/MMS and associated PLCs and other Third party Hybrid Control Systems for a major gas processing facility in Southern Nigeria.

The project was awarded due to INTECH’s excellent working relationship with the client as well as an excellent track record of integrating other skid-packaged-PLCs into the main control system for several major operators around the world.

INTECH’s Scope of work includes provision of pre- commissioning, commissioning and startup services of Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring Systems/Machine Monitoring Systems and Allen Bradley PLCs in addition to other Third Party Hybrid Control Systems for auxiliary units around the main facility. The client also requested INTECH to provide practical vendor training for POT personnel at the gas processing facility.

The concerned gas plant is located near a distributary of the Niger River in Southern Nigeria, close to Lagos. It has the capacity to process over 600 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMscf/d).

INTECH’s Integrated Control Systems offer a complete array of vendor neutral control automation and integration solutions ranging from basic Process Control, Safety, F&G and Power Management applications to data networks, site security, instrument management and fully integrated control and safety systems.
