INTECH’s support solicited for increased operational efficiency in one of Kazakhstan’s biggest processing facilities
INTECH Process Automation will provide upgrade and expansion services to one of Kazakhstan’s biggest oil processing facilities located in the country’s oil rich south west.
The Central Processing Facility caters to one of the biggest oil fields in the region and required modernization of control systems in order to address its expansion and increasing operational efficiency. The end user is one of the biggest oil producers in the Central Asian region and has been engaged in exploration and production activities in the region for over two decades.
INTECH Process Automation has been serving the Kazakhstan oil & gas industry for more than a decade now and has a proud record of business operations in the region. INTECH’s project references in the region and its successful business relationship with the end user over the years prompted the client to request INTECH’s services.
INTECH will execute this project from its Atyrau office. INTECH’s scope of work includes the following:
- In-house engineering including Logic Development for new I/Os, as required; Graphics development / modifications to incorporate new I/Os, as required and documentation update
- Site Services including Logic Development for new I/Os, as required; Graphics development / modifications to incorporate new I/Os, as required; documentation update; New logic implementation; Incorporating new/modified HMI screens; Testing and commissioning of the system after above changes and Configuration of tags to be transmitted to KazTransOil
- Software backup
- Overall Project Management
