INTECH awarded project to secure critical OT infrastructure for the largest mining company in the Middle East

INTECH has secured a project to design and implement comprehensive solutions that strengthen the overall security posture by addressing existing gaps and enabling the smooth and secure integration of operational systems with corporate IT networks, while being compliant with IEC-62443 standards and the regulations of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).

As part of this project, INTECH will deliver end to end cyber secure solutions by conducting a detailed risk assessment and implementing network hardening through segmentation, including the deployment of a dedicated industrial demilitarized zone (DMZ). These measures will enable secure and reliable IT OT convergence aligned with the client’s operational infrastructure and industry best practices. The scope includes supplying and integrating redundant firewalls, network switches, virtual host and PAM servers, along with antivirus and backup systems. INTECH will configure and harden all components, integrate them with existing enterprise tools, and update cybersecurity documentation and response plans. These measures will significantly enhance the client’s operational security posture, safeguard critical assets, and support smooth and secure OT-IT integration.
