INTECH expands its offshore brownfield automation footprint in West Africa with ICSS upgrade project win for Water Injection Platform

INTECH reinforces its position as the leading provider of brownfield automation services in West Africa as it wins another ICSS upgrade project with a major global E&P at an offshore Water Injection Platform.

As part of this project, INTECH will modernize the platform’s control system by replacing the existing PLC system with state-of-the-art technology and additional I/O racks for enhanced control and communication. The upgrade includes integrating a SIL-2 certified safety solution and ensuring seamless connectivity with the existing SCADA network via Ethernet/IP. The scope of work covers installation within existing cabinets, along with optional network components and operator consoles. To ensure a smooth transition, INTECH will conduct comprehensive factory testing and site acceptance procedures.
