INTECH hailed for MAC expertise in executing complex multi-platform offshore automation project for a leading IOC in West Africa

INTECH receives formal recognition for successfully delivering integrated greenfield and brownfield automation scope across three offshore platforms as the client’s trusted Main Automation Contractor in West Africa.

The completion of this project marks a major step forward in strengthening the client’s process control, system reliability, inter-platform communications, and overall operational performance across the three sites. Leveraging its in-depth multi-vendor and multidisciplinary expertise, along with years of proven experience in delivering tailored solutions for complex offshore environments, INTECH ensured seamless, end-to-end execution in strict alignment with the client’s rigorous technical and safety standards.

As part of this project, INTECH delivered a MAC scope solution by deploying a ControlLogix-based PCS, ESD, and F&G system with the latest hardware and software, redundant controllers, and industrial-grade HMIs for the greenfield site. In parallel, brownfield upgrades were carried out on the existing sites, adding new I/Os to seamlessly tie them in with the greenfield site, enabling smooth inter-site communication. The comprehensive scope included detailed design, engineering, FAT, configuration, installation, integration, commissioning, and start-up support, which enhanced operational efficiency and mitigated safety risks.
