INTECH successfully delivered ICS and PMS upgrade project in offshore West Africa for a major IOC

INTECH delivered a comprehensive ICS and PMS upgrade project across multiple offshore platforms, including Water Injection Platform, Artificial Lift Platform, and Gathering Station, for a major IOC in West Africa.

This project marks a key step in modernizing the client’s offshore operations’ control and power monitoring systems (PMS), significantly enhancing communication reliability and operational visibility across multiple critical offshore platforms. Executed with engineering precision and close coordination with site teams, the upgrade from legacy PLCs and ControlNet to an EtherNet-based DLR network was completed in line with the client’s technical and safety expectations. The successful delivery reaffirms INTECH’s position as a trusted partner for complex offshore upgrades in West Africa’s oil and gas sector.

As part of this project, INTECH successfully upgraded PLC systems and replaced the existing ControlNet network with EtherNet-based DLR network. The project’s scope also included  the supply of power monitors, HMI graphic modifications, detailed engineering and implementation  of a comprehensive installation and commissioning plan. To ensure a seamless and efficient control systems and PMS upgrade, INTECH also conducted thorough site surveys and maintained close coordination with client teams throughout the process.
